Bookmarks!
Hi Everyone,
Sorry its been so long since my last blog post. But as you all know sometimes life just gets in the way of things and time flies by, before you know it almost a month has passed away! Seriously, where has this summer gone!?!?!
Any who enough with all the boring stuff.. lol Just dropping in for a quick blog post of some bookmarks that I was working on last weekend here and there when I had time.
These would make excellent add on gift for those book lovers in your life! They are great for kids as well... super easy and quick to make... especially if you like to craft on the go!
Just die cut the bookmark base out of some card stock or watercolor paper (or even just cut out your own style bookmark with scissors, you don't really need a die for it) and stamp out whatever images you feel like coloring and take them with you! I plan on working on some this weekend.
So so the bookmarks that I have created I stared off with the Avery Elle bookmark die cut and cut out a bunch of bookmarks using watercolor paper. (I couldn't decide if i wanted to use watercolors or Copics) and its also heavier paper so you wont have to double them up!
I picked the images that I wanted to use and stamped them on to the bookmarks. I will post links below of the stamp sets that I used. The images below are what I created in a couple of hours.

So for the 2 above images I just stamped out my images with some copic friendly ink and colored them in with my copic markers. Pretty simple, when finnished just attach your favorite ribbon, twine or tassel to the top.

For the above image stamped the dogs out with some waterproof ink and watercolor in all the dogs! Super easy and fun!

So for the last two images above I decided to change it up a little. I stamped the image and words out with some clear ink and covered it in gold and rose gold embossing powder and heat set that! Super ease and elegant! Quick gift ideas! or just simply just to make some for yourself! :)
Well that is all for me tonight! Hope you all have fun making your bookmarks!!
Please check out the links below for the names of the stamp sets used!
