Takes Me Back!
Okay, I don't know about you guys, but I absolutely loved stuffed animals as a kid, especially teddy bears, and still do! So when this stamp set was released by Neat & Tangled I knew that I had to have it...It totally took me back to my childhood! unfortunately it was out of stock and then back in stock and out of stock again.. but I finally got my hands on it!!! I was so excited last week when I opened the package from Simon Says Stamp!! (& yes, I also ordered other items.. lol.. hard not to, but totally need to stop for awhile, lol)
So to get to the point I made 4 cards Saturday with the new set Better Together stamp set from Neat & Tangled.
I started by stamping my images on to some Neenah solar white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

After that I colored all the images in with my Copic markers, (If you would like me to list all of the color Copic markers I used please let me know in the comment box below) I then cut all the images out using the coordinating dies.
Seriously, how cute is this little girl and her dog?

It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to lay my images out on to the card base so I played around with some distress ink and stencils and came up with a few backgrounds. I only used two of the stenciled backgrounds for this project. The other two backgrounds I just did some simple ink blending with distress ink so get a soft backdrop.
I then stamped the sentiments with Versafine Onyx Black Ink after treating the paper with a power tool and covered it in clear embossing power and heat set it with my heat gun to make the sentiment stand out more.
I adhered my images to the card panel using some foam tape to give the card a bit of dimension. Then attached the card panel with some ATG adhesive to an A2 size card. (Two top folding, and two side folding).
I gave the card some finishing touches with some Nuvo enamel drops, and that completes my cards!!

Oh my goodness, do you love these little guys as much as I do? I love the little brown teddy bear!
Thanks so much for reading my blog today. I hope you enjoyed it. I'll have individual pictures of each card added to the photo's gallery tomorrow. (Sorry for the shine on the cards, its hard to get a good pic in the dark, the light is reflecting off the embossing powder)
Please feel free to share & subscribe to my blog and website !!
Thanks again for stopping by and talk soon.
